Aston Villa face a battle from Portuguese giants Porto to hold onto centre-forward John Carew.

Porto are desperate for a big summer signing and have targeted the giant Norwegian to lead their attack next term. Carew has not made a major impact since joining Villa from Lyon in January - netting three goals in 11 games.
